What is legal research?

Conduct direct, source-based legal research using the Legal Research mode, allowing you to quickly verify and substantiate your findings. When using this mode in Zeno, you can search through all relevant jurisprudence, with citations to the exact laws where the information was derived from.

Legal research helps you:

  • Conducting deeper analysis on a case.

  • Check for gaps in legal reasoning.

  • Support your thinking with highly curated legal sources.

Conduct Legal Research

  1. Go to the home page of the app.

  2. At the bottom of the assistant, click the green "Research" button in the bottom left of the chat box. You’ll see the question: “What are you researching?” This means you’re in legal research mode.

  3. Type your legal research question in detail — include any relevant context and specify the type of output you would like.

  4. Click the arrow on the bottom right to submit your question.
