Why Does Zeno Say a Legal Source Is Unavailable?
Zeno displays this message when Source Awareness detects that a Legal Research answer requires a legal source that is not fully available for the query. This does not necessarily mean the source does not exist. It means Zeno cannot currently ground its answer in that source.
Why a Source May Be Unavailable
A source may be unavailable because:
The relevant jurisdiction or source type is not currently included in Zeno’s legal database.
Zeno has only part of the material needed to answer the question.
The source is available in Zeno but is not enabled in your Legal Research source selection.
What to Do
First, check whether the relevant sources are enabled in Legal Research and run your query again.
If Zeno still reports that a required source is unavailable, treat the response as general guidance rather than a fully sourced legal conclusion. Verify the relevant authority independently before relying on the answer.
