Working with Zeno in Word
When you open Zeno in word, you can always start a new chat using the + New button at the top of the Zeno side bar.
In a new chat, you can always choose between Draft mode and Ask mode.
Using Ask Mode and Draft Mode in Zeno
When using the Zeno Word Add-in, you can switch between two modes: Ask mode and Draft mode. Each mode is designed for a different type of task and helps Zeno deliver more accurate results.
You can switch between modes at any time using the mode selector in the Zeno sidebar.
Working in Draft Mode
Draft mode is used when you want Zeno to make changes to your document. This includes revising clauses, adding new clauses, filling in templates, or making broader edits.
How to use Draft mode
Open the Zeno sidebar in Word.
Select Draft mode at the bottom right corner of the input bar.
Describe the changes you want Zeno to make to the document.
Click Send.
Zeno will review the relevant text and return one or more suggested edits.
Reviewing and Applying Suggestions
For each suggestion Zeno provides, you can choose how to handle it.
When you click Apply, Zeno applies all suggestions to the document using Track Changes.
You can also click the dropdown next to the Apply button to choose how each suggestion is handled:
Apply the suggestion using Track Changes
Insert the suggestion as a comment
Apply the suggestion directly to the document
See here:
If you apply a suggestion using Track Changes or as a comment, it will appear under your own name in Word.
Zeno may provide multiple suggestions at once. You can apply or reject each suggestion individually, giving you full control over what changes are made to your document.
Working in Ask Mode
Ask mode is designed for asking questions about your document. You can use it to understand, review, or analyze either the entire document or a specific section.
If you select text before asking a question, Zeno will focus on the selected section. If no text is selected, Zeno will use the full document as context.
How to Use Ask Mode
Open the Zeno sidebar in the Word Add-in.
Select Ask mode at the bottom right corner of the input bar.
Enter your question about the document.
Zeno displays the answer in the sidebar.
Ask mode is best suited for summarising content, identifying key terms or obligations, and checking consistency across your document.
