You can dig into any part of a Zeno answer using Response Interactions. Highlight the passage you want to look at more closely, and Zeno lets you ask for more detail, double-check a statement, or ask your own follow-up, all without copying the text or starting a new conversation.
What is a Response Interaction?
Sometimes a Zeno answer is long, and you only want to explore or verify one part of it. Response Interactions let you continue straight from the passage you're reading.
When you highlight part of a completed response, a small action menu appears. You pick what you want to do, Zeno attaches the passage to your message as context, and your follow-up runs in the same thread. The question and the answer stay in your conversation history, so you can come back to them later.
Response Interactions help you:
Ask for more detail on a specific passage without re-explaining what you mean.
Verify a statement before you rely on it.
Follow up on one part of an answer while keeping the rest of the thread intact.
How to Use a Response Interaction
Open a Zeno thread that contains a completed response.
Highlight the part of the response you want to explore. You need to select at least a short phrase (around ten characters) for the menu to appear.
Choose one of the three actions:
More details prefills a prompt asking Zeno to elaborate on the highlighted passage.
Double check this prefills a prompt asking Zeno to verify the highlighted statement.
Follow up attaches the passage and leaves the message box ready for your own question.
Review or edit the prompt in the message box. The highlighted passage is attached as a reference, which you can remove if you want. However, if you select Follow up, type your question with the highlighted passage attached.
Send the message. Zeno answers in the main thread, using the highlighted passage as context. The answer and the passage reference stay in your conversation history.
Important Points to Note
Choosing an action does not send anything automatically. You always review and submit the request yourself.
The menu appears only when you highlight text in a completed response. It is unavailable while Zeno is still working on an answer in that thread.
Removing the attached passage reference clears the request text Zeno inserted for you, but keeps any text you typed yourself.
You can start a Response Interaction from a Zeno response, not from your own messages.
