Not sure where to begin? Saved prompts help you get started quickly and guide your work with the assistant. You can use prompts curated by Zeno, prompts shared by your organization, or save your own for future use. You can also share your saved prompts with colleagues or your entire team.

Where to Find Saved Prompts

Saved prompts live in the assistant bar on the home page.

To access them:

  1. Look at the bottom right corner of the assistant bar.

  2. Click “Prompt Library"

You’ll see an overview of all your preset prompts, including:

  • Prompts you’ve saved

  • Prompts curated by Zeno

  • Prompts shared by your organization

Each prompt includes the following information:

  • Name – The title or identifier of the prompt.

  • Description – A short explanation of what the prompt does and when to use it.

  • Prompt – The exact text used to generate responses.

  • Modes – Options that control how the prompt behaves, such as:

    • Enable Legal Research – Activates legal reasoning and access to legal sources.

    • Require Documents – Ensures the prompt works only when documents are uploaded.

How to Save Your Own Prompts

If there’s a prompt you want to reuse or one you’ve crafted for a specific workflow, you can save it as a preset.

Here’s how:

  1. Click on 'Prompt Library' in the assistant bar. Here you will have an overview of all your presets.

  2. Then, click the 'New Preset' button.

  3. Fill in the following details:

    • Prompt Name: Choose a clear, descriptive name that helps others understand what it’s for.

    • Description: Add a short summary explaining how or when to use this prompt.

    • Instructions: This is the actual prompt, fill in what you want Zeno to do.

    • Mode: Choose whether the prompt Requires Documents or Legal Research mode, or both.

  4. Save by clicking the checkmark in the top right.

Your prompt will now be stored for future use, and you can choose to keep it private, or make it available to your whole organization. You can see how to do that here.
